Possessing imposing size, speed, footwork and power, the skilful Ferguson is one of the most exciting and dangerous outside backs in the NRL. He has a career try scoring strike rate of 1 every 2 games. Making his NRL debut in 2009 at only 19, Blake’s prodigious talent was evident early in his career as he narrowly finished second in the Dally M Rookie of the Year award. This would prove to be the first of many representative honours for ‘Fergo’. After signing with the Raiders in 2011 from the Sharks, he topped his new Club’s try-scoring count in his maiden season. An outstanding 2012 year culminated in Blake being selected for NSW Country Origin and the Australian train-on squad. For the second time, he topped the Raiders try-scoring count in 2013 and was handed his NSW Origin debut in that same year. After his move to the Roosters in 2014, Blake has re-established himself as one of the best outside backs in the NRL. An outstanding 2016 year has seen Blake play for NSW Origin before making his International Debut for Australia, against NZ in the ANZAC Test.
